Meet Cleo, the HR Agent Built for Slack
No new app to log into. Cleo answers HR questions right where your team already works, using the policies and data you already have.
Where Cleo Came From
Cleo wasn't built as a concept first. It came out of a real problem at TechCare. Our own People & Culture team was spending 8 to 12 hours every week answering the same five Slack questions, over and over, for every employee who asked.
The data needed to answer those questions already existed. It sat in HR systems, policy documents, and attendance records the whole time. The problem was never the information. It was accessible. Employees couldn't get a fast answer without pulling a person away from other work, so Cleo was built to close that gap.
What Cleo Does
Leave Management
Employees can check leave balances, submit requests, and get approvals routed to the right person, without leaving Slack.
Attendance Tracking
Cleo answers attendance questions instantly and flags patterns worth a person's attention, instead of leaving them buried in a spreadsheet.
Employee Q&A
The questions that used to land in a People & Culture inbox get answered by Cleo directly, pulled from your actual HR data and policies, not a generic script.
Built for Slack
There's no separate app to open or password to remember. Employees ask Cleo the same way they'd ask a coworker, right inside the channel or DM they're already in.
How It Works
Connect
Connect Cleo to your HR data and your Slack workspace.
Ask
Employees ask Cleo questions directly in Slack, the way they'd ask a person.
Answer
Cleo answers using your actual policies and data, and routes anything it can't handle to your People & Culture team.
Cleo gives People & Culture 8–12 hours back, every week.
At TechCare, Cleo took over the repeat questions that used to cost our People & Culture team 8 to 12 hours a week. That's time that went back into the work only a person can do: the harder conversations, the judgment calls, the parts of HR that shouldn't be automated.
